An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Relationship Engagement Manager to join a well-established global organisation in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role is dedicated to enhancing the volunteer experience by ensuring that they feel valued, supported, and connected, while building a more engaging and supportive environment.

Some of the Main responsibilities of the Relationship Engagement Manager include:
- Develop guidance and policy related to the role and responsibility of volunteers including handbooks and associated key documents
- Carry out research into existing arrangements, propose recommendations for improvement and implement these as agreed
- Manage the implementation of the Volunteering Strategy
- Understand the motivation for volunteering and implement awards, incentives, and recognition to promote volunteering and succession planning
- Develop and support volunteer retention initiatives
- Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs linked to volunteer engagement and management
- Promote volunteering opportunities through regular volunteer newsletters and maintain a social media presence to respond to volunteer enquiries
- Work with colleagues to develop and oversee the recruitment, role matching, induction, training, and supervision of new and existing volunteers
- Prepare detailed analysis and reports when required
- Promote, and contribute to, delivery of a high level of customer service
Essential skills required of the Relationship Engagement Manager include:
- Experience in writing policies, processes, guidance and presentations
- Experience in devising and carrying out training sessions or similar such as presentations
- Experience in managing projects, such as events
- Proven experience in developing processes and systems
- High standards of accuracy, record keeping and attention to detail
- Proofreading skills
- Polite and professional approach
- Excellent IT skills and competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams)
- The ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner, both written and verbally including letter writing skills, emails, face to face, telephone and video conferencing
- Strong organisational skills with a systematic approach to problem solving
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise day to day activities ensuring that deadlines and objectives are achieved
- Ability to undertake research when devising new information and guidance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated – able to plan ahead and push forward delivery, largely working on own initiative and without supervision
- Full eligibility to work in the UK without restriction
