Job Purpose: To carry out all aspects of floor laying and floor finishing works to a high standard across a variety of commercial and residential sites in London. The Floorer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of floor coverings including vinyl, carpet, LVT, and safety flooring, responding to reactive maintenance tasks as allocated by the Helpdesk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace a wide range of floor coverings including vinyl sheet, LVT, carpet tiles, safety flooring, and carpet.
- Carry out subfloor preparation including screeding, levelling, and use of self-levelling compounds.
- Remove and dispose of existing floor coverings in a safe and compliant manner.
- Ensure all flooring installations meet manufacturer specifications and relevant British Standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken.
