Purpose of the Job: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Team to join our organisation. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction and roofing, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This role involves various tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electronic leak tests and repairs to Trocal (Sika) roofs.
- Inspect and identify failures to roofs caused by water ingress.
- Resolve minor repair items such as gutter repairs, patch repairs, and tile replacements.
- Undertake and complete small and larger repairs to stop water ingress and liaise with clients on the damage both externally and internally.
- Maintain accurate records of all works undertaken, e.g., completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job.
- Ensure that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and ensure that all work is completed to a satisfactory level.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Essential:- Previous experience working with Trocal (Sika).
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Have a positive can-do attitude.
- Solid understanding of the safe use of power and hand tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Confident using handheld IT Equipment - Basic understanding of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- CSCS Card.
- Full industry recognised qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
- First Aid certificate.
- Asbestos Awareness certificate.
- Working at Height Certificate.
- IPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a), Mobile Boom (3b), Static Boom (1b).
- PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users.
- UKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety Passport.
