Hours: 45 hours per week
Holidays: 28 days holiday | 2 days off per week

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Commis Chef who is eager to develop their craft and gain hands-on experience in a high-quality kitchen. We are willing to train a chef, but they must have fine dining experience and be committed to learning and progressing within this business.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Support senior chefs in maintaining a high standard of food quality and presentation.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, fine dining kitchen with a focus on Spanish and Basque cuisine.
• Maintain precision, consistency, and attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Participate in stock and cost control to help maintain kitchen efficiency.
• Be willing to work with and taste a variety of ingredients, including seafood and game birds.

Requirements:

• Some experience working in a fine dining or independent restaurant is preferred.
• A passion for Spanish cuisine and fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A motivated and eager-to-learn attitude with a commitment to career development.
• Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
