Position Overview: This position supports the Warrior Readiness Portfolio as an Acquisition SME. KSA Integration is seeking an experienced Acquisition SME to support the Warrior Readiness portfolio in Stafford, VA. This role provides acquisition and contracting expertise in support of Marine Corps programs, advising on process improvement, creation of acquisition velocity, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership and must hold an active Secret clearance.

Position Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement and Procurement Velocity: Analyze current acquisition workflows, approval processes, and procurement timelines to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and recommend process improvement initiatives designed to accelerate procurement velocity while preserving regulatory integrity. Benchmark command performance against DoD and Service-level acquisition best practices. Support the implementation of process changes by developing standard operating procedures, workflow guides, and training materials for acquisition staff.
- Compliance Monitoring and Risk Management: Monitor acquisition activities for compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and policy directives, including FAR, DFARS, and Service supplements. Identify compliance gaps and advise leadership on corrective actions before they become findings. Maintain awareness of evolving acquisition policy and proactively communicate regulatory changes with operational impact to command leadership.
- Metrics Tracking and Performance Reporting: Assist in the design and maintenance of acquisition performance dashboards and tracking tools to monitor key metrics, including procurement lead times, obligation rates, contract award timelines, and competitive sourcing rates. Produce regular status reports and trend analyses that give leadership a clear, data-driven picture of program health and process improvement progress.
- Strategic Communications: Translate complex acquisition data and process improvement outcomes into professional briefings, executive summaries, and stakeholder communications for senior military and civilian leadership. Develop messaging strategies that accurately convey command performance, highlight improvements, and build confidence among oversight bodies, customers, and partner organizations.
Requirements:
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, supply chain management, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum 8–10 years of DoW acquisition experience, with demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance, procurement lifecycle management, and acquisition policy. Proven experience advising or supporting acquisition organizations in a process improvement, advisory, or program management capacity. Strong analytical skills with experience developing and maintaining performance metrics and dashboards (proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, or equivalent tools). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to produce executive-level briefings and strategic communications products. Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification or equivalent (Level II/III in Contracting or Program Management). Experience with Lean Six Sigma, CPI methodologies, or formal process improvement frameworks. Familiarity with DoW procurement velocity initiatives (e.g., Other Transaction Authority, Middle Tier Acquisition, Adaptive Acquisition Framework pathways). Prior experience supporting HQMC, MARCORSYSCOM, or a Marine Corps acquisition command.
