  • We’re searching for a motivated

Trade Assistant / Wash Bay Attendant to support our busy workshop in High Wycombe. This is the perfect role for someone mechanically minded, eager to learn and ready to be a strong team contributor.

You’ll work under the leadership of an experienced Maintenance Manager with over 40 years in the transport industry, with trade qualifications across diesel, spray painting and panel beating.

If you’re eager to learn, you’ll be surrounded by experience.

This role will be suited to someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑moving environment where no two days are the same.

You take ownership, show initiative and genuinely want to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the workshop
  • Keeping the workshop clean, orderly, and safe
  • Managing and maintaining the wash bay area
  • Ensuring vehicles are cleaned to company standards
  • Inspecting vehicles for damage and reporting issues to the maintenance team
  • Assisting mechanics with general workshop tasks
  • Supporting routine inspections and daily operational checks
  • Assisting with moving parts, tools, and equipment
  • Helping with inventory management and stock control
  • Cleaning and preparing vehicles for repairs

  • Able to safely undertake manual tasks (including lifting 20kg+)
