Fantastic new opportunity for a General Manager to join this hotel management company based in Scotland. This position can be based in either Inverness or Edinburgh. My client is looking for a commercially driven and experienced General Manager with a background in managing branded, full service hotels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including rooms, F&B, guest services and maintenance
- Lead, motivate, and develop a hands-on team delivering exceptional hospitality
- Maximise revenue and profitability through effective cost control and business development
- Collaboration with the owner on the management of budget planning and execution of operational performance
- Build relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and brand standards
The Successful candidate will have
- Proven experience in hotel management (GM, Deputy GM or Hotel Manager) from within a branded hotel.
- A commercial mindset with strong financial acumen
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong leadership and people management skills
