Currently recruiting for an experienced Head of eCommerce / Senior eCommerce Manager to lead and drive global online performance across all digital channels for an exciting hotel business. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and the ongoing development of eCommerce platforms.

The Role

You will own the eCommerce strategy end-to-end, overseeing planning, performance, optimisation, and delivery across multiple digital touchpoints. Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure digital channels support wider commercial and brand objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the strategic planning and budgetary control of all eCommerce marketing activity
  • Developing and implementing global online and traffic acquisition strategies across CRM, SEO, PPC, affiliates, and social media
  • Owning the eCommerce roadmap and driving continuous improvement of website and digital platforms
  • Managing and optimising PPC performance, analysing ROI, and reallocating budgets to meet revenue and traffic targets
  • Improving website usability, design, content, and conversion rates, working with external agencies where required
  • Collaborating with design and content teams to deliver engaging, on-brand digital experiences
  • Implementing and evolving content strategies for website and blog platforms
  • Ensuring CRM systems work effectively across all areas of the business
  • Delivering insight and analytics to inform ongoing eCommerce development

Experience required

  • Proven experience in a senior eCommerce role (Senior eCommerce Manager or Head of eCommerce)
  • Strong understanding of PPC, including creating and delivering global strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and performance reporting
  • Solid background in customer acquisition, re-engagement, and retention
  • Strong CRM knowledge with experience building and implementing CRM strategies
  • Experience managing third-party technology and service providers
  • Basic web and mobile app development knowledge to support agency management and cost control
