Are you a passionate hospitality leader looking for a business opportunity as well as a management role? I am currently recruiting for a unique Hotel General Manager / business operating partner with the potential to own and operate your own business — combining the stability of management with the rewards of entrepreneurship.

About the Opportunity

This is not your typical General Manager role. You’ll take the reins of an established hotel, leading day-to-day operations while benefiting from an ownership-style arrangement, similar to a pub landlord or business operating partner model. Working in close partnership with the owners, you’ll have the freedom to drive performance, grow revenue, and shape the guest experience — while sharing in the success you create.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including rooms, F&B, guest services and maintenance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a hands-on team delivering exceptional hospitality
  • Maximise revenue and profitability through effective cost control and business development
  • Collaboration with the owner on the management of budget planning and execution of operational performance
  • Build relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and brand standards

The Successful candidate will have

  • Proven experience in hotel management (GM, Deputy GM or Commercial, Revenue Manager)
  • A commercial mindset with strong financial acumen
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive – someone who wants to run their own business, not just a job

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive earning potential
  • Independence to shape and grow the business
  • Ongoing support and partnership from the property owners
  • A chance to be your own boss within a proven hospitality model

If you’re an experienced hotelier ready to take the next step into business ownership, I’d love to hear from you.
