We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior AWS Architect with 14+ years of enterprise technology experience and proven expertise in leading complex on-prem to AWS migration programs. The ideal candidate will architect scalable, secure, cost-optimized target environments on AWS, guide containerization & modernization initiatives, and drive migration strategies such as rehost (lift & shift), replatforming, refactoring, and application consolidation. This role requires a blend of deep hands-on AWS knowledge, architectural leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to articulate business value through AWS-native capabilities.

- Migration & Modernization Expertise
- Lead end-to-end large-scale migration programs
- Design secure, automated, and scalable container platforms on AWS in collaboration with DevOps and platform teams
- Define and lead containerization journeys using Amazon ECS, EKS, Fargate, and container-focused CI/CD pipelines
- Guide refactoring of monolithic applications into containerized or microservices architectures
- Architectural governance and oversight through design, build, test, migration, and cutover
- Rationalize applications, databases, and infrastructure footprints to reduce complexity and improve cost efficiency
- Standardize patterns, templates, reusable modules, and architectural blueprints
- Evaluate and recommend AWS-native services based on performance, cost, security, and business outcomes
- Present detailed business cases for benefits such as cost optimization, operational efficiency, security enhancements, and scalability
- Advise clients on cloud operating model transformation and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 14+ years of enterprise IT experience with extensive AWS cloud architecture expertise
- Strong hands-on skills across AWS compute, networking (VPC, TGW), IAM, storage, container platforms, and automation tools
- Deep experience with: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Route53
- Designing secure IAM/KMS strategies
