KRSL are looking for people who are ready to make a positive impact by enabling people with health conditions or impairments to remain independent in their own homes. We are recruiting a Senior Care Worker to cover the Torbay area. This will be a remote role offering care services in the local community, therefore your own transport is essential. This will be 35 hours per week Monday-Friday, with a requirement to work every other weekend. You will ideally be NVQ Level 3 qualified and have previous experience in a similar environment. Benefits for the role include a company iPhone, fuel card and an employee wellness scheme.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver high quality care to people and their families
- To provide the highest quality care to service users in their own homes in accordance with their Care plan, in a person-centred approach.
- Personal care includes washing, dressing, bathing, toileting.
- Administering medication - monitoring and/or assistance.
- Recording medication administration
- Engage and work closely with unpaid carers, such as family or friends.
- Promote dignity and privacy.
- Act as a role model to all Care Workers
- Be aware of CQC fundamental standards
- Complete medication audits and conduct supervisions.
