We are looking for an experienced mig welder to work for a well established manufacturer who provide services to the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in assembling and fabricating various components, particularly in sheet metal. There will be heavy lifting involved in this role, so you must be physically fit. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work with both hand and power tools to produce high-quality welds.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Utilise various welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
