At krow, we’re passionate about creating work that works. As a full-service creative agency and part of The MISSION Group, we pride ourselves on developing bold, insight-driven campaigns that deliver real results.
We’re looking for a social-first Content Creator who can take ideas from concept to camera to cut-down, fast. You’ll spot and reinterpret trends, present on-camera, produce street-style vox pops, and create content that drives community engagement and growth across key social platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s comfortable being both the creative brain and the person behind and in front of the lens.
What You’ll Do
- Creative & Concepts
- Generate platform-native content ideas for TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Stories), YouTube Shorts and emerging formats.
- Turn insights, trends and cultural moments into brand-safe, audience-relevant content.
- Develop repeatable content series (e.g. street interviews, challenges, formats) that build consistency and growth.
- Write quick, platform-native micro-scripts for skits (hooks, beats, payoff, CTA) and adapt them on the fly based on what’s landing in the moment.
- Collaborate with strategists and client teams to align content with comms objectives.
- Collaborate with creatives to bring bigger campaign ideas to life through social-first content and creator-led execution.
- Production (Filming & On-camera)
- Film social content on mobile and/or lightweight kit, ensuring strong framing, lighting, audio, and pace.
- Confidently perform on camera in public settings (street, events, locations), staying natural and engaging even with distractions.
- Create and perform comedy-led social content (skits, characters, scripted punchlines, comedic reactions), balancing humour with brand guidelines.
- Create unscripted, in-the-moment content — improvise on camera, capture authentic reactions, and turn spontaneous moments (especially in public) into platform-native edits that still feel on-brand.
- Run on-the-street vox pops end-to-end: approach the public, ask strong questions, manage permissions and keep interactions respectful and safe.
- Capture “in the moment” content at shoots, brand activation, launches, live events and behind-the-scenes.
- Editing & Post-production
- Edit primarily in CapCut (mobile and/or desktop) producing fast, high-quality social cuts.
- Add subtitles, motion, transitions, sound design and platform-appropriate pacing.
- Create multiple variants (hook changes, different captions, aspect ratios, cut-downs) for testing and optimisation.
- Apply basic brand guidelines while keeping content feeling native and not overproduced.
- Community & Growth
- Support content publishing with community-first engagement: prompts, comment hooks and reply strategies.
- Drive engagement by creating content designed to spark conversation and shares.
- Feedback learnings from performance into future concepts (what’s working, why, what to try next).
- Trend & Culture
- Track emerging trends, audio, formats, creator styles and platform updates.
- Quickly prototype trend-led content that fits brand tone, messaging and risk profile.
- Maintain a trend bank and pitch weekly “what we should make next” recommendations.
Mandatory Experience
- Proven ability to concept, film, and edit social content end-to-end.
- Strong working knowledge of CapCut editing (captions, effects, pacing, templates, sound).
- Highly comfortable acting on camera in public including approaching the public for vox pops, filming confidently in busy environments and performing comedy skits and scripted bits while maintaining brand tone and safety.
- Confident in creating unscripted in-the-moment content - able to improvise on camera, capture authentic reactions and turn spontaneous moments into on-brand, platform-native edits.
- Able to shoot clean mobile video with solid audio awareness and basic lighting instincts.
- Deep understanding of TikTok/IG Reels native style and what drives engagement.
- Able to work at pace, reacting quickly to trends and briefs.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when filming in public.
- Experience running street interview formats and shaping questions that get great answers.
- Comprehensive understanding of social analytics.
- Deep understanding of creator/influencer culture and platform storytelling styles.
- Portfolio showcasing social-first video work (links required).
