How you will contribute:

We’re searching for a resourceful and enthusiastic Financial Crime Administrator, who will amongst other things, support the day‑to‑day operations of the First Line Financial Crime Operations function. The Kroo is growing and we’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining us on our journey!

About You

While not essential, the following experience and qualifications are highly desirable in our ideal candidate for this position:

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Be the first port of call for all Financial Crime customer contact.
  • Handle escalations from the Customer Service team and provide practical advice on required actions.
  • Applying Financial Crime policies and processes and recording detailed notes to aid with investigations.
  • Support with the identification of financial crime trends through data analysis.
  • Using Financial Crime systems to check for any malicious actors and loading to the relevant databases where necessary.
  • Liaise with other financial institutions and law enforcement authorities.
  • Liaise with other business departments.
  • Support the optimisation and update of existing processes, systems and procedures.

Here’s what we are looking for ideally:

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least 2 years experience in a customer service role in the financial services sector.
  • Experience in a Counter Financial Crime function is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Have worked in a start‑up.
  • Are familiar with Financial Crime and AML regulations.

About Our Process:

We can be flexible with the structure of our interview process if someone's circumstances or timescales require it but our general structure is:

  • Technical interview with the hiring manager - 45 mins
  • Head of division interview - 45 mins

Presently, we follow a blended working model, where employees are expected to work in the office for 1‑2 days a week. Therefore, candidates who are able to occasionally commute to the office align best with our current work practices. Please bear in mind that this position entails working shifts over 5 days, totalling 37.5 hours per week. The shift schedule will be provided well in advance, typically spanning from 6 am to 10 pm.
