Key Responsibilities
- Produce robust analysis and actionable insights that inform product strategy, customer journey improvements, prioritisation and roadmap decisions.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and Marketing teams throughout discovery, delivery, launch and optimisation, ensuring product decisions are grounded in reliable data and customer insight.
- Analyse customer behaviour across acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention and product usage to identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and commercial performance.
- Define, monitor and communicate product performance metrics, including customer, commercial, operational and risk‑related measures, to evaluate the success of product initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, evaluate and prioritise high‑impact opportunities that align with customer needs, product strategy and Kroo's wider objectives.
- Support the design, implementation and evaluation of product experiments, feature releases and customer journey changes, providing clear recommendations based on results.
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines, dashboards and self‑serve reporting tools that reduce repetitive work and enable teams to access trusted data efficiently.
- Use data and analytics to support decision making, while applying sound judgement and practical problem solving where data is incomplete, limited or still developing.
- Apply knowledge of consumer financial services products, including current accounts, savings accounts, investment accounts and related customer journeys, to provide relevant and commercially valuable insight.
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Design, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance to ensure analysis supports shared priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Use AI‑enabled tools responsibly to improve analytical efficiency, automate suitable repetitive tasks and enhance insight generation, while maintaining appropriate standards of data governance, security and quality.
- Contribute to the development of product analytics standards, data definitions, documentation, reporting practices and team ways of working.

Requirements
Experience as a Product Analyst, Senior Product Analyst, Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role within a digital product, fintech, banking or consumer financial services environment.
Skills
- Proven ability to produce robust analysis and actionable insight across the product lifecycle, from discovery through to launch and optimisation.
- Strong experience using SQL to extract, transform and analyse data from complex data sources.
- Experience using business intelligence, product analytics or data visualisation tools to create dashboards, reports and self‑serve data solutions.
- Ability to define product metrics and analyse customer behaviour across acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement and retention.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, Risk and Compliance.
- Confident using experimentation and controlled testing to evaluate product changes and measure outcomes.
- Experience building, maintaining or contributing to automated data pipelines, data models and reporting processes.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling and actionable insight for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience using AI‑enabled tools to improve analytical workflows and support insight generation, alongside an understanding of responsible data use and governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
Qualifications
- A degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Experience working with consumer financial services products, particularly current accounts, savings accounts, investment accounts or related customer journeys, is preferred.
