Financial Crime Administrator (Entry Level)

How you will contribute
We are searching for a resourceful and enthusiastic Financial Crime Administrator, who will amongst other things, support the day-to-day operations of the First Line Financial Crime Operations function. Kroo is growing and we would love to hear from you if you\’re interested in joining us on our journey!
Responsibilities
- Be the first port of call for all Financial Crime customer contact
- Handle escalations from the Customer Service team and provide practical advice on required actions
- Apply Financial Crime policies and processes and record detailed notes to aid with investigations
- Support with the identification of financial crime trends through data analysis
- Use Financial Crime systems to check for any malicious actors and load to the relevant databases where necessary
- Liaise with other financial institutions and law enforcement authorities
- Liaise with other business departments
- Support the optimisation and update of existing processes, systems and procedures
Qualifications and requirements
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 2 years experience in a customer service role in the financial services sector
- Experience in a Counter Financial Crime function is beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Have worked in a start-up
- Are familiar with Financial Crime and AML regulations
Process and interview structure
- We can be flexible with the structure of our interview process if needed; general structure is a technical interview with the hiring manager (45 mins) and a Head of division interview (45 mins).
