  • Define and own your backlog, making trade offs to deliver customer and business value on time and within agreed constraints.
  • Be an exponent of continuous discovery in the payments domain, persistently seeking to validate ideas that improve the customer experience, operational efficiency and risk controls through insights and innovation.
  • Transform big ideas, complex requirements and evolving regulation into well defined product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Work with the wider Payments and Product teams to drive and challenge product strategy, ensuring our payment product suite benefits customers and the business and aligns with the overall bank strategy.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key external partners and suppliers, including payment schemes, processors and technology vendors, to deliver both customer and business value.
  • Ensure your products remain compliant with relevant payment regulations and scheme rules, operate smoothly with high availability and resilience, and adopt best in class industry trends.
  • Achieve success with your payment products, including account to account payments, card payments and internal transfers, with clear goals and measures of success.
  • Lead a cross functional squad to conceive of, validate, design, build, test and launch impactful customer experiences that solve real payment related problems.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the many functions of the bank, including the leadership team, Product and Technology, Design, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance, to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
