About the job
At Krono Sports, we support race organisers across the UK (and occasionally internationally), delivering industry-leading chip timing and calm, reliable operational support — from grassroots races to major endurance events.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Events & Operations Support team member to join us.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity for someone who loves sport and wants to build a career in live events and operations. You’ll support race delivery from preparation through to race day and post-event follow-up. Some days you’ll be on-site at events. Other days, you’ll be preparing equipment, coordinating logistics, or supporting clients behind the scenes. This is not a desk-only role. It involves early starts, teamwork, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, live environment. Experience isn’t essential — attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting live event setup, delivery, and pack-down
- Assisting with race results and resolving timing queries
- Working directly with Race Directors and organisers
- Preparing and testing timing equipment
- Supporting scheduling, logistics, and travel planning
- Building strong relationships with clients
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and dependable
- Positive attitude, manageable and getting the job done
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Flexible (including weekends and early starts)
- Confident using IT systems
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence and eligibility for a DBS check.
What We Offer
- £25,000–£29,000 (depending on experience)
- Hands-on experience at live sporting events across the UK
- Full training in sports technology
- Opportunity to grow with a fast-growing company
- Supportive team environment
- Time off in lieu for weekend work
If you’re excited by live events and want to build your career in the sports events industry, we’d love to hear from you.
