Kronospan is looking for a personable, hard-working Head of KronoOriginal to develop and grow our sales of Flooring across DIY, builders' merchants, and distribution. Kronospan is one of the world's largest manufacturers of wood-based panels. Our particleboard, MDF, OSB and plywood ranges are used every day on building sites and in manufacturing across the UK. We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of KronoOriginal to lead our UK Flooring sales operations. This is a field-based role, with emphasis on being in front of the customer and securing new business for the Company. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of flooring sales, driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with decisive action, motivating the team to exceed targets whilst maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team, setting clear performance objectives and conducting regular appraisals to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the flooring sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and commercial partners across the region.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and inform product strategy.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations, contract management, and customer account oversight.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, producing regular reports and forecasts for senior management.
