This is a new business role first and foremost. You'll spend your time:
- Opening new accounts across distribution, manufacturing and merchant businesses
- Building and driving a pipeline of qualified new business opportunities
- Winning new supply agreements and specification opportunities for our decorative and melamine faced ranges
- Building senior relationships with buyers and decision-makers
- Representing KronoDesign at industry events and exhibitions
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of the decorative panels market and feeding insight back into the business
Qualifications
- A proven new business hunter with a track record of opening accounts and hitting growth targets
- Experience selling into distribution, manufacturing and/or merchant channels
- Background in panel products, decorative surfaces, timber, building materials or a related trade sector (melamine/panel experience is a big plus)
- Confident negotiator, comfortable at senior buyer level
- Self-starter who is organised, resilient and energised by the chase of new business
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel
