Main duties and responsibilities

Kronospan has new opportunity for a Receptionist to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. The successful candidates will join us on a full time basis and will receive a competitive salary.

Hours of Work

Week – 16.00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch
Week – 17.00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch

When covering holidays, will be required, with the extra hour paid at basic rate.

Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist –

  • Answer all incoming calls, advise & direct to appropriate party, announcing nominated calls.
  • Provide first welcome to visitors.
  • Prepare for customer visits, ensuring correct PPE, e.g. hard hats, is available.
  • Make tea & coffee for visitors & meetings. Set out buffets.
  • Provide directions to contractors, drivers & visitors.
  • Issue contractor vehicle permits.
  • Undertake various administrative tasks e.g. posting invoices.
  • Administration of Clocking in system
  • Any other reasonable duties that you may be asked to perform.
  • To meet or exceed any specific performance objectives agreed under the Kronospan performance appraisal process.
  • Adherence to all Kronospan policies and procedures.

Requirements

Working knowledge of MS Office

Preferably Secondary/College education

The ability to work under pressure due to phone calls/visitors increased number at times.
Welcoming and strong communication skills
