Kronospan has around 15,000 employees across more than 40 manufacturing sites worldwide. As an expanding family business in a dynamic environment, our people are the key to our success. In order to continue our success, we are now looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Production Apprentice. This is your chance to gain valuable hands-on experience alongside your academic qualification, whilst learning from industry professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with various production tasks, learning the process from start to finish.
- Learn the principles of efficient production processes and equipment operation.
- Develop strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Build teamwork and communication skills while working alongside experienced professionals.
- Gain exposure to different aspects of the production cycle, from raw materials to finished products.
The successful candidates will undertake a 4-year apprenticeship programme, undertaking a BTEC Level 3 qualification in engineering, along with a Level 3 NVQ in Process Industry Operations via the local college.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 A-C grades at GCSE, including Math, English, and Science.
- A strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
