•.Lead the set-up and day-to-day operations of a new Moroccan facility, ensuring efficient processes and operational excellence across a short cycle press manufacturing plant.
• Source a suitable location or facility and obtain any relevant permits.
• Supply chain responsibility for the import of impregnated paper and board, working closely with the commercial team.
• Have a hands-on approach to operations, being responsible for the operation and maintenance of a short cycle press facility.
• Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Environmental, Operations and Quality performance within the plant
• Develop the team, including recruitment, inductions, appraisals, up-skilling, performance management and mentoring
• Oversee all maintenance within the department, ensuring maximum availability whilst controlling costs.
• Liaise closely with suppliers to ensure the high volume, high quality product standards are maintained throughout.
Requirements
• Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing operations.
• Operational and commercial knowledge to support the import of board and impregnated paper
• Passionate and focused about achieving excellent Safety & Environmental performance
• The ability to work under pressure and maintain a consistently high level of performance. Not afraid to challenge others
• You will have good IT skills and be capable of understanding and reacting to operational data
• Quick thinking, you will be skilled at problem solving and be an effective communicator to ensure issues get resolved in a timely manner
