Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring global tax and statutory filing compliance.
  • Provide forecasting for each country / plant.
  • Oversee the local tax declarations as well as a global tax declaration.
  • Provide strategic tax advice and guidance to our business units, helping them navigate complex tax legislation.
  • Oversee transfer pricing strategy and documentation.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and advisers.
  • Identify and mitigate against tax risks.
  • Manage taxation auditing ensuring minimal tax associated cost across the globe.
  • Monitoring emerging tax regimes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Tax Lawyer with significant experience working in the UK.
  • Expertise in private client tax, corporate tax, and real estate tax is preferable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of international tax law, including experience with tax compliance and planning strategies.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise advice in a client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience of working with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and in real estate matters.
  • Confident in advocating for the company in court.
