Responsibilities

  • Development of the Krones UK and Ireland long‑term strategy for the Process BU.
  • Providing internal leadership from the UK across key internal stakeholders to drive communication and lead the Business Unit into its next phase of development.
  • Working cross‑functionally with the existing sales structure to develop sales for the Business Unit.
  • Responsible for all sales‑related activities within the Krones UK and Ireland Process Technology portfolio.
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity and emerging markets.
  • Sales initiatives for new markets and developing relationships with new customers.
  • Business growth foundation work (sales initiatives, networking, exhibitions).
  • Generating and expediting new sales leads, opportunities, and enquiries.
  • Identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and highlighting Krones USPs.
  • Building strong business relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Delivering sales presentations both internally and externally.
  • Responsible both technically and commercially for all new machinery enquiries and orders.
  • Feeding in accurate information for internal offer preparation.
  • Checking, preparing, and issuing customer quotations.
  • Negotiating contracts with customers.
  • Commercial management of new machine orders, including post‑sale variations.
  • Recording new opportunities in Salesforce and ensuring all live enquiries are kept up to date.
  • Producing detailed visit reports, including notes from customer meetings.
  • Arranging and driving regular customer business review meetings, both internally and externally.
  • Attending customer visits to Krones Group factories for pre‑ and post‑sales requirements.
  • Liaising with the Krones UK design department regarding layout reviews and changes.

Qualifications

  • At least five years’ experience within the Beverage, food, or associated industries preferable.
  • Previous roles involving industrial processing machinery capital sales market.
  • Engineering/Technical Degree Qualified, or equivalent experience.
  • High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ideally experience in using a CRM system.
  • Persuasiveness and assertiveness.
  • Confident communicator at all levels.
  • Educated to at least HNC/ A level and above.
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • Able to undertake UK & European travel.
