An IT Apprenticeship opportunity has emerged for an enthusiastic individual looking for their first step into the IT sector. The candidate will enter this energetic and friendly Deployment team, starting from the ground up, with the chance to be involved in all areas of the business, building an understanding of how a successful IT Consultancy works. The successful candidate will be a fast learner, hardworking, and join this vibrant, fun and dedicated team with a can-do attitude. This role is based at our HQ in Chertsey (Surrey) with travel to client sites, other Krome sites, and occasional weekend work, so a local Surrey postcode would be ideal.
Training Course: Information Communications Technician (Level 3)Course Duration: 1 year 6 months

Responsibilities
- Configuring laptops and PCs at the Krome warehouse
- Installing hardware including laptops, printers, PCs, monitors, servers and racks
- Decommissioning hardware and office equipment
- Project involvement with some of our blue-chip clients
- Full (Manual) UK Driving Licence is essential
- An understanding of IT Hardware is a definite advantage but not essential
- A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
- A punctual and thorough work ethic, with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills (in person and via telephone) - excellent written and spoken English is essential
- The role will involve regular face-to-face contact with our customers, so excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism are key
- This is a fast-paced job that will require a degree of flexibility to support other teams and departments, and dedication that makes you stand out from the crowd
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths / English (grade 4 / C), and IT (preferred but not essential)
- A genuine interest in IT, technology, and problem-solving
- No previous commercial experience required—just passion, curiosity, and a willingness to grow!
- Ability to be able to travel to Chertsey for work; working hours 9.00am – 5.00pm or 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday (variable depending on client needs) with 6 hours per week allocated for studying.
