The Role

Due to continued growth across the business, we are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to join our highly skilled and hardworking team. Working closely with our Sales and Technical teams, you will play a key role in shaping solutions that align commercial objectives with robust, scalable technology. This is a consultative role, suited to someone who can confidently translate business requirements into practical, well-architected solutions, whilst maintaining a strong focus on value, risk, and long-term outcomes for the client.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly develop a strong understanding of Krome's technology portfolio and service offerings
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to support and grow long-standing, trusted client relationships
  • Apply both technical and commercial insight to identify opportunities that advance clients' IT environments
  • Produce high-quality supporting documentation, including proposals, scopes of work, and solution designs
  • Engage with internal technical teams to ensure solutions are deliverable, scalable, and aligned to best practice
  • Support the successful transition from sales to delivery through effective cross-team collaboration
  • Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience translating business and functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Broad knowledge of modern IT technologies, including virtualisation, storage, networking, firewalls, security, Microsoft infrastructure, and cloud services
  • Confidence producing client-facing proposals and scope documentation to a high standard
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-led mindset
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to demonstrate business value throughout the consultative process
  • A valid UK Driving Licence (regular face to face client meetings required in the role)

The role is 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, based at Krome's HQ in Chertsey (Surrey). Once probation has been successfully completed, there will be the opportunity to work 3 days per week in the office and 2 days flexible working (depending on client/business needs).

The Package

c£55,000 Basic (depending on experience) + KPI linked bonuses
