Kromachem Ltd are a manufacturer and distributor of speciality colours based in Manchester, Watford and Germany. We make products for the printing ink and paint market – in particular, colour concentrates. Our products are sold all over the world, regarded as high performance and our customer service levels are second to none. We are constantly looking to push the boundaries of what is possible – developing better and smarter and more sustainable products. Our customers are ink, ink-jet and coatings companies who produce coatings for anything from food packaging labels to automotive parts.
We are looking to add a new chemist / technologist to our existing team working in Hyde, East Manchester. Salary would be competitive and reflect qualification, aptitude and ability.
The right candidate should have:
- Good practical, technical and numeracy skills.
- Communications skills to be able to communicate results, problems and ideas clearly, concisely and effectively.
- Be equally at home with routine lab work as well as creative problem solving.
- Be educated to minimum A or AS level including Maths and a Science. (We would also consider GCSE school leavers in a more junior role as laboratory technician/assistant.)
- We are part of an international business with strong ties to customers and employees in Germany – so anyone with German language skills will be of great interest.
