We are seeking a highly technical, hands‑on Senior Solutions Engineer to work closely with the Platform Engineers to strengthen and scale our DevOps and Release capabilities. This role is a working technical leader responsible for shaping the DevOps roadmap, driving execution, and improving engineering velocity across the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong execution focus and cross‑functional influence. This role will play a critical part in elevating infrastructure reliability, release quality, automation maturity, observability standards, and architectural scalability.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
- Technical Leadership
- Actively contribute to infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and reliability initiatives.
- Lead improvements in:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Code repository governance
- Release automation and deployment processes
- Monitoring and alerting systems
- Drive reliability, scalability, and performance improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and release issues.
- Architecture & Engineering Collaboration
- Partner with engineering technical leads and architects to drive system architecture decisions that support performance, scalability, and security.
- Influence infrastructure and application architecture to ensure cloud‑native, resilient, and highly available designs.
- Establish standards and best practices for scalable deployments and secure infrastructure patterns.
- Provide guidance on performance optimization, capacity planning, and fault tolerance strategies.
- Ensure security considerations are embedded into infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes from the outset.
- DevOps & Release Excellence
- Define and improve release processes across engineering teams.
- Establish best practices for:
- Branching strategies and repository standards
- Build automation and artifact management

- Improve deployment speed while maintaining high quality and stability.
- Standardize DevOps workflows across teams.
- Infrastructure & Platform Enablement
- Oversee infrastructure management across cloud and/or hybrid environments.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code and automation‑first approaches.
- Improve observability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
- Partner with security teams to ensure infrastructure and pipeline best practices.
- Roadmap & Execution Ownership
- Collaborate with Platform Engineers to define:
- Quarterly roadmap

- Balance operational support with strategic platform improvements.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Architecture, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Proven experience leading cross‑team technical initiatives.
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Deep understanding of release engineering and modern cloud‑native architectures.
- Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience contributing to architectural design discussions focused on performance, scalability, and security.
