We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Development Associate to join Kroll’s Risk Advisory Revenue Office, with an initial focus on the Law Channel. Working closely with the Associate Managing Director leading the Law Channel across EMEA, you will help strengthen relationships with law firms, support strategic client activity and keep key business development initiatives moving at pace. The role is based in our London office.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys bringing structure, energy and momentum to a fast-moving commercial environment. You will coordinate day-to-day activity, maintain strong operating discipline, support events and campaigns, and ensure opportunities, actions and client engagement are tracked effectively.
Over time, the role may also support other priority sales channels, giving you broad exposure to Kroll’s services, senior stakeholders and growth initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Support delivery of the EMEA Law Channel go-to-market strategy, helping to turn plans into practical actions, clear timelines and measurable progress.
- Act as a central coordinator for Law Channel activity, including meetings, follow-up actions, reporting, pipeline tracking and regular operating cadence.
- Work with the Law Channel Leader for EMEA and other stakeholders to maintain client plans, relationship maps and engagement trackers for priority law firms.
- Coordinate proposals, engagement letters, capability statements, working closely with relevant teams.
- Partner with marketing and commercial teams to develop, update and organise targeted campaigns, presentations, event materials and other Law Channel collateral.
- Maintain Salesforce discipline by logging meetings and relationship touchpoints, keeping contact data current, and supporting accurate dashboards and performance reporting.
- Coordinate strategic roundtables, relationship meetings and networking events, ensuring stakeholders are well prepared in advance through clear briefing materials, and that follow-up actions are captured, assigned and progressed after each activity.
- Gather and summarise client, competitor and market intelligence to support account planning, pitches and leadership updates.
- Support internal communications, reporting and knowledge-sharing linked to Law Channel priorities.
- Provide flexible execution support for other sales channel initiatives where coordination, reporting, events, collateral or Salesforce support is required.
- Build strong relationships across the wider business development team, marketing, commercial operations and senior stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, key account management support, sales operations, marketing operations in a professional services firm.
- Experience coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders and business development initiatives in a matrixed environment.
- An understanding of the legal sector is highly desirable; familiarity with risk, disputes, investigations or restructuring advisory services would be an advantage.
- A-Levels, a degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and colleagues across regions and teams.
- Clear and adaptable written and verbal communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to turn market, client and financial information into useful insight.
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-oriented, with strong follow-through and a service-focused approach.
- Confident using CRM systems such as Salesforce, with strong Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills.
