About the Role
Kroll’s Data Analytics team combines commercial insight, technical know-how, and analytical problem-solving skills to support our clients’ transactions and broader strategic decisions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Building client relationships and acting as a direct contact with current and prospective clients.
- Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market, and competitor information.
- Managing valuation modelling analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models.
- Identifying and communicating potential engagements to management.
- Supervising and mentoring staff on analyses, reports, and presentations.
- Driving insights through data analytics.
- Gaining exposure to transactions on buy-side and sell-side, financial planning & analysis, restructuring, strategic decision support, and data analytics.
Essential Traits
- A Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree (preferably in a STEM subject) or relevant work experience.
- An accounting or other financial professional qualification.
- Experience building and reviewing financial models in Excel and VBA.
- Leadership experience including managing client relationships and mentoring staff.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A passion for learning and self-directed technical learning.
- Broad sector experience is desirable; experience in Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewables, and Financial Services is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL Server, and Python is advantageous.
