Responsibilities
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
- Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, deliver and load orders into vehicles.
- Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
- Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to the customer at pickup.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Receive and store orders in optimal temperature zones.
- Read and follow directions in the note section.
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
- Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally.
- Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations, verify accuracy, and load into vehicles.
- Process orders through the POS system.
- Determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
- Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor.
- Inspect equipment and notify supervisor of items needing repair.
- Perform required opening and closing procedures.
