Responsibilities include:
- Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
- Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
- Assisting in removing merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
- Offering help to customers with loading bags into their cars.
- Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
- Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
- Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
- Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot.
- Cleaning all store areas inside and outside.
- Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
- Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
- Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
