About the Role

Based in London, and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth, building strategic relationships and expanding KRM22’s footprint across buy-side and sell-side clients. This role has a strong emphasis on multi-asset sales, particularly within Fixed Income and/or FX, leveraging an established network and deep understanding of these markets. The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in generating new ARR and NRR, while positioning KRM22’s solutions across complex client environments. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Marketing, Product, Technology and Services teams to build the sales pipeline, shape client solutions and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver against individual quarterly and annual new business revenue targets, with a focus on multi-asset opportunities across Fixed Income and FX asset classes
  • Leverage an established client network to originate, develop and close new logo opportunities
  • Actively prospect, target, research and engage senior stakeholders across buy-side and sell-side institutions
  • Own and manage the full sales lifecycle, from origination through to close
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across key asset classes
  • Produce and present tailored commercial proposals aligned with KRM22’s sales methodology
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of KRM22’s applications and articulate value propositions effectively across trading, risk and enterprise functions
  • Deliver high-quality product presentations with relevance to Fixed Income and FX workflows
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline forecasting and activity tracking within the CRM system
  • Build, manage and continuously develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Represent KRM22 professionally at industry events, conferences and client meetings
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence, including competitive insights and trends across Fixed Income and FX markets

The ideal candidate

  • 10+ years’ proven success in Financial Markets technology sales, with a strong track record of consistent software sales performance over an extended period
  • Demonstrated success in multi-asset sales, with a particular focus on Fixed Income and/or FX markets
  • A well-established network of senior contacts across one or more relevant asset classes (buy-side and/or sell-side)
  • Proven ability to originate and close complex, enterprise-level deals in capital markets technology
  • Strong understanding of trading, risk and regulatory workflows within Fixed Income and/or FX
  • Proven track record of exceeding new business quotas in competitive and complex environments
  • Highly disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptable and consultative sales style, with strong negotiation and objection-handling capabilities
  • Ability to quickly absorb and communicate complex product offerings
  • Self-starter: motivated, results-driven, resilient and commercially focused
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills
  • Experience using CRM and sales enablement tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
