Kriya is seeking a strategic and handsâon Commercial Officer to lead the next phase of growth for our Embedded Finance products. This is a foundational leadership role where you will own the P&L, define our goâtoâmarket strategy, and scale a highâperforming commercial team.
You will balance handsâon deal execution with team leadership, personally closing major agreements while mentoring your team and refining our sales process. You will oversee the entire commercial journey: acquiring new clients, managing strategic accounts, and driving longâterm growth. A central part of this role is building trusted, lasting partnerships with both direct clients and broker partners, solidifying our position as the market's preferred partner.
Collaboration across the business (Risk, Compliance, Product) will refine our offering based on market feedback and regulatory changes. We need a proven leader with experience launching and scaling complex financial products, thriving in a targetâdriven environment and passionate about developing talented teams.
What Youâll Do- Develop and execute on the goâtoâmarket commercial strategy and develop a deep understanding of our target customers and markets.
- Own and be responsible for hitting revenue targets and the P&L for the Embedded Finance division.
- Create a culture of high performance through clear objectives and KPI tracking.
- Build trusted relationships at all seniority levels of prospective clients; from strategic Câlevel to operational stakeholders.
- Lead the Account Management team to develop and execute initiatives that boost customer retention, streamline operations, and elevate client satisfaction.
- Identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities.
- Act as a player/coach who can lead and mentor junior members of the team, driving overall target delivery.
- Set up scalable internal sales processes to ensure we can deliver against our ambitious goals and continuously improve for high efficiency.
- Experience in Invoice Finance, Asset Based Lending, or other commercial finance, fintech and the B2B Payments space.
- Experience in a Lead/Senior B2B commercial role, selling payment or software services into midâtoâlarge enterprise accounts.
- A strong network in the industry is highly advantageous.
- A proven track record of owning and delivering against revenue targets in a goâtoâmarket role.
- A strong people manager, mentor and coach with experience in hiring great talent.
- Highly organised, with solid processâbuilding and projectâmanagement skills.
- Enthusiasm about working in a fastâpaced, teamâoriented, missionâled environment.
- Able to commute to the London office 2â3 days per week.
- Understands risk frameworks and the risks associated with invoice finance.
