Role Overview

As our Human Resources Information System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing our people data systems, ensuring compliance, and delivering insightful analytics. Working closely with the People Services Manager, you\’ll oversee the People & Culture database and other HR systems, providing seamless user experiences, building dashboards and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for HR system and people data enquiries.
  • Assist in the administration and configuration of HR systems: Element Suite, Thrive & Peoplebank.
  • Regularly audit and cleanse data to maintain system efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements.
  • Generate and distribute standard management reports and data outputs.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, demonstrating awareness of HR metrics.
  • Present data analysis findings and provide recommendations to support strategic decisions.
  • Train and support end users to ensure correct system utilisation and data interpretation.
  • Maintain internal and external system and process documentation.
  • Undertake project work as directed by the People Services Manager.
  • Assist the wider People & Culture Team and stakeholders with general tasks as required.

What we are looking for:

Essential

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to communicate data insights clearly.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Natural curiosity and determination to improve systems and processes.
  • Adaptability to embrace and move with change.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable

  • HRIS systems expertise – system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting using Element Suite.
  • Experience in automation and process improvement using HRIS or external resources.
  • Working knowledge of Integration & APIs.
