Grade: Grade 6, £30,811 - £32,693 per annum, pro rata. Approximately £25,999 - £27,587 per annum (0.84383 FTE). We may close this role earlier than advertised.
About us and the role
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and experienced Senior Administrator (Attendance and Admissions), based at Krishna Avanti Primary School, Leicester, to play a key role in the effective running of the school. This is a pivotal position, with responsibility for leading attendance and admissions processes and supporting key whole-school priorities. Working closely with senior leaders, you will drive improvements in pupil attendance, ensure robust and compliant systems are in place, and provide accurate reporting to inform decision-making. You will also work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for all pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to make a meaningful impact within a supportive, values-led school community. What will you do?
- Lead and manage whole-school attendance processes, using data analysis to monitor trends, improve punctuality, and address absence effectively.
- Work closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to promote good attendance and ensure safeguarding and legal requirements are met.
- Oversee and administer school admissions, including coordination with the local authority, managing waiting lists, and supporting pupil transitions.
- Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to senior leaders, including reporting, data management, and school communications.
- Line manage and develop administrative staff, ensuring efficient systems, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective day-to-day school operations.
