Do you have excellent communication skills that would enable you to work within a challenging female environment that constantly strives to provide the best possible experience for our patients?

Located in St Helens, Draper House is a purpose-built specialist residential service for females with complex mental health needs due to mental illness or complex mental health needs due to personality disorder. The service operates 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day.

You will be working at a specialist locked rehabilitation for females with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. You will support the service to equip service users with the skills required for community living and increased independence. The service is recovery-based supported by individualised interventions. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team.

You will receive training to join the team as a Recovery Worker where you will be valued and supported, with career development opportunities available. It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. This career path is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.
