About the Role

We’re looking for a senior backend developer (language agnostic) with deep knowledge in designing high-performance, distributed systems. You’ll work in a core product team focused on building scalable, event-driven architectures that power millions of transactions across casino, sportsbook, and exchange products. This is a strategic, high-impact role in a team responsible for one of the most technically demanding areas of the platform.

Tech Stack (You don’t need them all—expertise in any of these is welcome!)

  • Languages: Go, Node.js, Java, Rust, Ruby on Rails
  • Messaging & Stream Processing: gRPC, RabbitMQ, NATS Jetstream
  • Datastores: Redis, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Cloud & Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
  • Architecture: Microservices, real-time APIs, event-driven systems

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and develop backend systems for real-time sports exchange services
  • Design high-throughput, low-latency services
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
  • Lead code reviews, system design discussions, and performance tuning
  • Mentor other engineers and help define technical best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of backend experience in complex, high-performance systems
  • Proven expertise in at least one of these backend languages: Go, Java, Node.js, Rust, RoR
  • Experience with microservices and event-driven design
  • Familiarity with message queues and real-time data pipelines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficient in English
