Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced HBM Operator to join our skilled machining team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with complex, high‑value components in a modern precision engineering environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating Horizontal Boring Machines (HBM) to machine large precision components
  • Setting up and preparing machines for production runs
  • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
  • Producing high‑tolerance components to strict quality standards
  • Carrying out in‑process inspection and quality checks
  • Working closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment in line with health & safety standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience machining materials such as stainless steel, alloy steels, and other engineering materials
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled engineering team
