Are you an organised and customer-focused administrator looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting for a Service Administrator to join a well-established, global business that has been at the forefront of weighing, slicing and labelling technology for over 150 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive Service team, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive an exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am - 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break, or choose a 30-minute lunch and finish at 5:00pm.
  • Hybrid working: During your 6-month probation period, you'll be able to work from home 1 day per week. Once probation has been successfully completed, this increases to 2 days per week.
  • The role requires occasional Bank Holiday working to support the Service team. However, if preferred, you can choose to book these days as part of your annual leave entitlement.

Purpose of a Service Administrator

As a Service Administrator, you'll be responsible for providing efficient administrative support across the Service department while working closely with customers, engineers and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Raising service invoices and credit notes across multiple business areas.
  • Managing and resolving customer invoice queries.
  • Uploading invoices and supporting documentation to customer portals.
  • Producing customer and internal reports as required.
  • Managing key account monthly invoicing and maintaining asset records.
  • Handling incoming telephone enquiries from customers and colleagues.
  • Preparing quotations for new service contracts and contract renewals.
  • Following up contract opportunities and end-of-warranty equipment leads.
  • Coordinating contractual maintenance visit schedules.
  • Supporting the wider Service Administration team with daily operational activities.
  • Providing scheduling support when required.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Previous experience within an administration or customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience working to KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using SAP and CRM systems (preferred).
