My client is a leading provider of large format print and graphics, providing services to clients UK wide and internationally. They are on the lookout for an experienced Large Format Print All-Rounder, who can operate printers, finishing equipment, as well as artworking, pre-press, and some client service - booking in jobs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, operating and laminating a variety of large format digital printers including HP Flat Bed, HP Latex, and Mimaki
- Operating finishing machinery including Summa Cutter, laminating, and guillotine
- Progressing jobs through RIP software and outputting to digital printers
- Quality checking all work ensuring it is output to the highest standard
- Liaising with the finishing department, QC work then pass to them to meet deadlines
- Routine maintenance of machinery
- Estimating and booking in jobs
You will have:
- A strong background as an experienced large format operator, ideally with experience of operating HP latex, HP Flatbed, and Mimaki printers
- Experience of print finishing including mounting, laminating, guillotine, vinyl application, and Summa Cutting
- Competence in all Adobe Creative Suite applications - Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Excellent communication skills
- Some experience of estimating and booking in jobs
- Flexibility for working hours, including working overtime at short notice if needed
