The Role
The Head of Manufacturing is responsible for leading the manufacturing department, ensuring all work is delivered on time, to the correct standard, and with full control over labour and materials. The focus of the role is visibility, structure, and performance. You will ensure every job is tracked, every cost is understood, and the department operates efficiently. You will also produce the CAD drawings required to support manufacturing and play an active role in the research and development of new products, materials, and processes. You will also provide quotes to the PM Team for Manufactured items.
Experience Required
- You will have a strong manufacturing or production background, ideally with leadership experience.
- Experience in the following areas is expected:
- Senior manufacturing or production leadership
- Workflow, scheduling, and output management
- CAD software and technical drawing
- Product development or research and development
- Labour, materials, and cost control
- Systems and process improvement
- Team leadership and development
- Experience in large format print, exhibitions, events, displays, signage, branded environments, or bespoke creative build is essential.
