Role Summary
To set and operate CNC Vertical Turning Machines in accordance with Work Instructions, to produce quality products in a safe and controlled manner, meeting all quality specifications whilst satisfying productivity requirements in compliance with engineering drawings and associated specifications.
Key Accountabilities
- Operation of a variety of CNC machine tools, Fanuc, Siemens and G&L controls.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Read and Interpret CNC programs.
- Download, edit (if required), and archive CNC programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling.
- Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate cutting conditions.
- Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
- Completion of all documentation and labour bookings.
- Demonstrate engagement with other Team Members where applicable.
