Your role involves managing a portfolio of private client tax relationships, providing technical expertise, and ensuring high-quality client service while adhering to budgets and fee recovery targets. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing planning, resourcing, and workflow of client work
- Ensuring work is within budget and obtaining necessary sign-offs
- Providing technical advice and managing tax return cycles
- Monitoring work progress, fees, and WIP
- Developing technical skills and staying updated on legislation
- Proactively seeking tax advisory opportunities
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Managing and developing your client portfolio
- Responding to client requests and providing support to other SLs
Leadership and People Management:
- Line managing and developing team members
- Setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting recruitment
Business and Financial Management:
- Monitoring team KPIs and performance
Business Development:
- Building networks, generating leads, and cross-selling services
