We are recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior Manager with a clear advisory focus to help strengthen and grow our Corporate Tax advisory offering across Kent. The position is available for either our Canterbury or Chatham offices. You will be working closely with the Corporate Tax partners on tax advisory projects and supporting the wider team on complex compliance assignments. Kreston Reeves operates a hybrid working policy with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH. The Corporate Tax team is made up of 25 professionals across our offices and forms part of a wider tax team of nearly 100 staff. You will work with clients across the firm on a broad range of projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, requiring strong organisation and prioritisation skills. Our local team has a strong capability in compliance and R&D. This role is key to strengthening our advisory capability – bridging gaps in lead conversion, delivering high-quality advisory projects, and providing technical support on complex corporate tax matters. It will play a critical role in driving advisory growth and reducing reliance on partner-led delivery.
You will be advising a diverse range of corporate clients, from entrepreneurial growth companies and larger corporations to multinational groups, FCA-regulated companies, and AIM-listed PLCs. This is your chance to work with a variety of industries and make a real impact.
About the role
- Lead and deliver a wide range of corporate tax advisory projects (e.g., restructures, tax support on M&A transactions, share schemes, international tax issues, and ad hoc advice), producing high quality client ready advice with minimal partner input.
- Support business development and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Provide technical support on complex corporate tax compliance matters for OMBs and large corporate groups.
- Build strong client relationships and take ownership of delivery.
- Mentor and develop team members, enhancing advisory capability of the team.
- Enhance the internal profile of the corporation tax service through high-quality delivery, upskilling of teams, and cross-team engagement.
