We’re seeking an experienced and highly motivated Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling, newly renovated, four surgery dental practice. In this key role, you will manage a talented team, maintain smooth practice operations, and ensure that every patient receives the highest level of care. If you have a strong background in dental management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating positive patient experiences, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the dental practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Supervise and inspire a team of dental nurses, hygienists, reception staff, and other practice personnel.
- Develop and maintain a high standard of patient care, professionalism, and operational efficiency within the dental practice.
- Ensure the practice is compliant with all legal, safety, and regulatory guidelines, including CQC.
- Handle patient concerns and provide solutions to ensure complete patient satisfaction.
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and appointment management.
- Implement and enforce practice protocols.
- Manage financial operations.
- Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of practice staff.
- Collaborate with the dental providers to optimise the patient experience and practice performance.
- Work closely and report to the group Operations Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in dental management or a similar healthcare management role.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of dental software (Exact/Software of Excellence, Dentally, R4 or similar systems) is preferred.
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanour in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles relevant to dental practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals and support staff.
