An established automotive retailer is seeking a qualified
VEHICLE TECHNICIAN to join its busy and professional aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Technician looking to further develop their career within a modern workshop environment, supported by ongoing manufacturer training and access to the latest diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
- Undertaking road tests where required to assist with diagnosis and quality control.
- Maintaining high levels of productivity, efficiency and workmanship.
- Ensuring all repairs are completed safely and to customer satisfaction.
- Participating in ongoing technical and manufacturer training programmes.
- Candidate Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Full UK manual driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Previous workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A positive, team-oriented approach and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am β 5:00pm
- 1 in 3 Saturdays, paid at enhanced overtime rates
