We’re looking for an experienced CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR to be the key link between our customers and busy workshop team.
This role would ideally suit someone with previous experience in a similar environment, such as a dealership, commercial vehicle workshop, service centre, or passenger car aftersales operation.
The Role
- Accurately capture customer and vehicle information at first point of contact
- Book vehicles into the workshop and maximise workshop capacity
- Raise job cards and prepare all required documentation
- Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and repair status
- Explain completed repairs and service requirements
- Coordinate MOTs, inspections and warranty-related enquiries
- Monitor repair times and ensure delivery commitments are achieved
- Promote service plans and aftersales products
- Arrange payments and hand over completed vehicles
- Maintain accurate customer records and workshop schedules
Requirements
- Previous Customer Service Advisor, Service Advisor or Aftersales experience is essential
- Experience gained within a motor trade environment, such as passenger cars, commercial vehicles, dealerships or service centres
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong administration and organisational ability
- Confident working in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- Hours
- 40-hour week
- Rotating shifts: 7:00am–3:00pm and 9:00am–6:00pm
- 1-hour lunch break
- Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm, 1 in 3 weeks
