We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work with various materials and tools to create high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the capability to follow specifications accurately. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for both the construction and assembly of cabinets, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality.
Duties:
- This role requires the candidate to have a high level of cabinet making experience, ideally in the kitchen and bedroom industry.
- Core skills include cabinet assembly to the highest standard, ensuring no errors or defects on cabinets, including issues related to machinery, edging, or cutting.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of machinery used in the process of manufacturing kitchens, such as Homag machines.
- To ensure jobs are completed on time and that others adhere to timelines.
- Quality control and integrity check of all cabinets is at the core of the business.
- Keep customers informed of any delays to manufacturing deadlines.
- Work closely with the business owner to ensure all targets are met.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar carpentry role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Be able to bring new ideas to the business for further improvement and growth.
- Manage stock levels of component parts.
This role will play a significant role in the efficiency of the business, so the candidate must be confident in delivering results. Relevant experience in a similar environment is a must, and candidates without this proven record will not be considered.
